INSIDE AL QAIDA

INSIDE AL QAIDA

Nasser al-Bahri, alias Abu Jandal, joined al-Qaeda as a simple soldier. He quickly moved up through the ranks of the terrorist group to work for more than three years as bodyguard to the head of the organization, Osama Bin Laden. His particularity: he was the only man capable of killing Bin Laden. "Here's a gun with two bullets in it. If ever we're caught one day, there will be one for you and one for me," the world's most wanted man informed him. Arrested in Yemen in 2001, he was questioned several times by Ali Soufan, an American FBI agent. His statements led to the identification of the different players in the September 11 attacks. Through Abu Jandal's testimony, as well as the comments of the different protagonists, including Ali Soufan, the film aims to assess the current state of al-Qaeda "from the inside", as closely as possible to Bin Laden.
