THE STRANGER FROM VAL PERDU

Martine escapes from the psychiatric hospital where she was interned to run off to the small village of Valmont in the Cévennes. All that she takes with her is a strange playing card on which some mysterious words are written. She rents a house lost in the mountains and has strange conversations with the locals: Pousse-Cailloux, a taciturn sculptor, Marc, a charming carpenter, and Jessica, the baker's daughter… None of them understand who she is and what she is there for. They only discover the truth as Martine herself does. And it makes their blood run cold.
